I am a serial entrepreneur and CEO of private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw and joined the panel of heavyweight investors for BBC Two's in 2007. I'm thrilled with the latest series which recently aired on BBC2. I love investing in entrepreneurs both on the show and with my private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw. I have been building and selling businesses since 1985 and make a point of investing in people more than products. I'm a great believer that it is people who create a success in business through their passion and conviction.

On an even more exciting note, I am very much looking forward to the release of my autobiography, The Real Deal, which will be available in all good bookstores nationwide on the 18th of September. The whole experience of writing about my life has been one of the most incredible things I have done, as it has enabled me to step back and just consider everything life has thrown at me over the past 47 years, from leaving home to the birth of my first child, to selling my first company and ending up on the Den. There will be plenty of information about the deals I have done, how and why I made certain decisions, what helped me get through certain family crisis' and how dedication, family, ambition and a positive attitude has enabled me to get where I am today.
